Once back in the states, her love of travel continued by driving across country as far west as Alaska but also traveling as far south as Florida.
Once settled back in Washington, DC, she graduated in 1978 from The International Travel Training Courses, Inc. She immediately went to work for a large travel agency on Capitol Hill working with Senate and Congress along with residents living in the surrounding area. She worked her way to become a general manager and eventually bought one of the branch offices in 1984. Despite the many changes in the travel industry, Research Travel remains a small, woman owned business. She has a dedicated staff that help with all travel needs whether they be corporate or leisure reservations.
